  Blue Moon did worked on two bathrooms for us. In one, they re-grouted the tile. In our main bathroom, they pulled out the exiting flooring and shower door, then put down new tile. They also re-grouted the shower, installed a backsplash, and other work to make the bathroom look new. We found Blue Moon through a recommendation from a neighbor and decided to get an estimate, then use them to do the work. Blue Moon came in from day one and really brought a lot of good ideas for how we could renovate this bathroom without spending too much money. For the materials, Dave helped us figure out how we could get the style we wanted in our budget, and we were able to get nicer tile by saving on other parts. He was able to price out the parts and labor for all of our ideas so we could narrow the list down to what we really wanted in the bathroom. That was all just part of the estimate. Originally, they thought they could get the project done in two days. The demo guy came to rip out the old floor, and thankfully, there were no problems with the sub-floor. The next day, their tile guy didn't show up. Dave came over and apologized for that, even doing some of the work himself to get things ready. He found a new tile guy to come in, who worked really hard throughout the day and even came back on a Saturday to finish the job. The Blue Moon tile guy did really good work, even behind the toilet where no one can see it. Dave came back to do the final touches and make sure that we got the right caulk to match our paint color. (We did the painting) I'm really pleased that the bathroom turned out as well as it did. We honestly didn't think it could look this nice. When you hire a contractor and everything goes right, you can't really know if you just got lucky that time. It's when something goes wrong, like the first tile guy not showing up, that you can get real insight into how they resolve problems. Based on the results I've seen here, I trust Blue Moon to handle the inevitable problems that come up in larger projects, like my future basement renovation.

  One year ago we had our basement finished by Blue Moon. From the initial contact and through the entire process the workers and staff were extremely professional and timely. They adapted easily to our change orders and offered wonderful advice on design and features. This week we had our one year warranty checkup. John, the owner, came in and did a walk through with us, checked everything from the lights to the paint job! Great customer service! We love sitting at the bar with friends and enjoying our awesome theatre. Great space, great service....we are using them for our kitchen remodel this fall!

  Back in 2006, when I was thinking of finishing my basement, I interviewed 6 different construction companies before I decided on choosing Blue Moon Construction. Not only was I happy, I don't even bother to call anybody else when I need work done at my house. From then first time we sat down to discuss our basement to the finished product, the process was unbelievable. The price and level of customer service was second to none. Blue Moon also did a built in china cabinet in my dining room, my deck and various other projects. I am just glad that I have John on my speed dial! Great work and keep up the good job.   Blue Moon Construction did an outstanding job finishing our basement. Not only is the finished product everything we had hoped it would be, the process went so smoothly and quickly. The project was completed on budget and on time, which has almost never happened for us in the past when we have used other contractors for home improvements. The entire team at Blue Moon Construction has wonderful attention to detail and the incredible finished product is a reflection of that. We highly recommend Blue Moon Construction for all of your remodeling needs, you will not be disappointed.

  I tried to reach Blue Moon via website, email and by phone with no luck. Apparently that are no longer in business. If you find yourself in a similar position, I recommend that you contact VirginiaRemodelings, a residential contractor located in Ashburn, Virginia. They provide excellent quality workmanship at reasonable pricing. They have excellent references and reviews and are rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau.
